Private Dance Classes
These dance classes are personalize, with an instructor for each student, taking into account their level (beginner, intermediate or advanced).
Below you can see our offers depending on the hours you want to take:
- 1 hour of class for a price of 15 euros
- 2 hours of class for a price of 25 euros
- 10 hours of class for a price of 130 euros
If you want to take 10 hours of class, these can be distribute throughout the week with 1, 2 or 3 hours per day.
We recommend taking 10 hours of dance class so that you can perfect your dance technique and progress much more, while also getting a better price.
The name “Casino” originates from “casinos deportivos,” dance halls where affluent white Cubans engaged in social dancing from the mid-1950s onward.
Culturally, Casino is dance as an interplay between genders and feeling the music (Sabor) as its main ingredients.
Much of Casino style dancing draws from the Afro-Caribbean cultural context, emphasizing sexual interplay, teasing, and everyday experiences.
Casino dance styling features “macho” men and femininely sexy women, with major body and muscle isolations, influenced by Rumba.
Group Dance Classes
It’s considered a group if you come with 5 or more people. These classes will feature a main instructor and assistant instructors, offering the best price:
- 1 hour of class for a price of 10 euros per person.
We recommend a minimum of 2 hours of class for better progress. In group classes, you can dance “Rueda de casino,” where couples perform the same moves simultaneously.
